What Is Mindfulness?
Mindfulness is the practice of paying attention to the present moment with openness and without judgment. While it won't make pain disappear, research shows mindfulness can change your relationship with pain, reduce suffering, and improve quality of life. It's one of the most evidence-based psychological approaches for chronic pain.1
